In 2017, when I made the decision to pursue a change in work, I knew this also meant a shift in groups of local business owners and fellow entrepreneurs.
I'll be the first to admit how blessed Greenville, SC is in the business of creativity. The line of work I fell into isn't too common, but I did quickly learn of a local candle maker who I would later come to absolutely adore.
Mercy Verity Candles has been popular in the Greenville area for some time now. People adore her...and how could you not? She holds the most loving, inviting and comforting personalities I've ever met. The very last impression I wanted to make was competitive spirit as I fell into the role as the "new girl". We introduced ourselves, spent hours over coffee, spilled our hearts and the rest is history.
We creatives just want to have fun. Simply make a living creating something our heart loves and hope you share with those you love, too.
Lisa has been nothing short of a true blessing and loyal friend and that is something beautiful to be celebrated. Over coffee, we began brainstorming ways to bring our love of creating together, which brought us to our latest project, featuring the precious calligraphy of Steeplechase Collective.
"A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle." has been our mantra from day one. It's not often you find a business owner in your line of work who you trust, highly respect and simply "click" with.
What could we possibly lose by lifting each other up? Her candles are phenomenal, her willingness to open her studio to me has been magical and her joyful spirit, we all are grateful to know.
We hope that you enjoy our collaboration candle. How precious it is to always include and celebrate the victory of another!
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
